About Eric Bryan

Eric Bryan is a therapist who works with adults, ranging from college students to baby boomers. Eric helps his clients develop self awareness and insight into the nature of their problems, in order to increase life satisfaction, connection to others, and accomplish their goals.

Eric’s approach to therapy is informed by psychodynamic and Gestalt therapy principles. Eric believes that a client therapist relationship that is genuine, dynamic, authentic, and vulnerable is central to therapeutic success.

Eric has a two year certification in Relational Gestalt Therapy (2017) through the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute. He is in consultation with the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute. Eric is a co-author in a study being published in the Journal of Personality Assessment. Eric holds a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University and completed his bachelors degree at Indiana University. He is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Indiana, where he has been practicing since 2012.

Eric’s great loves are his Martin guitar, a bottomless cup of coffee, and an evening walk with his wife. His dog Bentley is his greatest fan and he is proud to be the step-father of three amazing children.
